The admissions team will complete a thorough review of records. The team will decide if  the student’s needs can effectively be supported within an available program.

Admissions Meeting

The prospective student and their family will be invited to meet with the admissions team and take a tour of the campus. During the meeting, the parent/guardian and the team will further discuss the student’s needs. After the meeting, the parent/guardian and the LEA will be informed of the admissions decision.

Planning and Placement Team Meeting

If a student is accepted for enrollment and the LEA approves and supports the placement, a Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meeting will be scheduled prior to the student’s start date. This meeting ensures collaboration between the parent/guardian, IEA team, and LEA to formalize the placement and create a smooth transition plan.

Finalizing Placement

The student’s placement and start date are contingent upon:

  • Finalization of contracts with the parent/guardian and/or the LEA.

  • Completion and submission of all required health forms and documentation.
