Admissions Process
1.
Submission of Student Records
To initiate the admissions process, we request that the student's records be sent to IEA for review. These records should include the most recent Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and any evaluations completed within the last three years. Records can be sent to admissions@ie-academy.org
2.
Admissions Meeting
Upon review of the student's records, if a program can be tailored at IEA to meet the student's needs, the prospective student and their family will be invited to participate in an admissions meeting with IEA's admissions team.
3.
Placement PPT
(for LEA Referred Students)
If the student is accepted for enrollment, a Placement Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meeting will be scheduled prior to student placement. This meeting involves collaboration between the student's parents, IEA team, and local education agencies to ensure a smooth transition and appropriate placement.
Thank you for considering IEA for your child's educational journey. We look forward to partnering with you to support your child's academic and personal growth.
